Chris Mason was so helpful, warm, friendly, and accommodating. It felt like staying in my own home, with everything taken care of. She drove me to the store and my conference, answered all my questions about the place, gave me directions to places to visit, did laundry, and made a very good breakfast. There’s unlimited Tea/Coffee/Popcorn, too. I stayed at Parish House Inn for five nights, and it exceeded my expectations. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with good sunlight and air. I watched a few movies from her collection on the room’s TV and DVD player. I’ll definitely stay here again!

There’s plenty of parking in the back and a nice patio to relax on. Parish House is just 2-3 blocks from several decent restaurants on Ypsilanti’s main drag, and about the same distance from a park and a nice walking trail. The price was about what the cheaper nearby chain hotels charge. We also made friends during our stay, and we still keep in touch, one of those random things that can happen at a B&B. We stayed for a football weekend about a year ago, before I was writing reviews. It was a great experience, and we’ll be back. The hospitality and food were good, the rooms nice and spacious, and Chris and her helpers made the place feel homey.

This is our third visit, and certainly won’t be our last. Chris is an outstanding innkeeper, the rooms are immaculate and comfortable, and breakfast is absolutely delicious. The hospitality feels genuine, and we look forward to coming every year. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. Ypsilanti is also a great base for visiting the many sites in the area.

Chris is fantastic. She knows the community and hotspots, makes a fabulous breakfast, and is lovely to chat with over her homemade oatmeal cookies. The B&B is easy to find and well placed for exploring downtown shops and restaurants. The Huron River is right behind the Inn, a nice break from the busy town, and it feels close to everything. We had a girlfriend reunion getaway here. Our room had two beds and an easy chair, so there was plenty of room for lively conversation in cozy surroundings. I’d stay here again if I’m back in Michigan visiting friends.

My mother stayed one night and was treated so well. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and breakfast lovely. They also have a bottomless cookie jar and lots of movies and DVDs you can borrow to watch in the rooms. It’s within walking distance of the park and shopping. I feel bad having her stay with me now, because Parish House Inn offered more than I do. I’d recommend it to anyone. Nothing bad to say about the place.
