The hot tub felt great after long days in the park, and we all slept really well in the comfortable beds. Our room was spacious, with plenty of towels, and the WiFi was reliable. We also got some great food and hiking suggestions that made our trip better. Before booking, we called to ask about a pack ’n play since we were traveling with a baby. We were first told there weren't any, which was disappointing. The next day someone from the on-site team called to apologize for the wrong information and confirm they did have them. That follow-up really impressed us and made us comfortable booking. The hotel has a relaxed vibe and was good value. The check-in area was nicely done, and the fire pit was a lovely place to sit in the evening. The only little downside was hearing air conditioning vents from neighboring rooms at night. We'd absolutely stay again, 10/10.

We loved the outdoor feel at Field Station. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a large mini fridge for our provisions. There are plenty of spots to relax, including the pool, hot tub, and fire pit. Staff were consistently kind and helpful, and we enjoyed the cornhole, bocce ball, and other games in the shared areas. The walls are a bit thin, but it never became a real problem. We'll come back next time we visit Joshua Tree National Park!

Paula and Amber at the front desk were wonderful and helpful with directions and suggestions. Also, loved the tater tots! We had a great stay at Field Station, which is conveniently placed for getting to Pioneertown, Joshua Tree National Park, and 29 Palms. The spacious rooms had room for our bicycles, and the bed was firm and comfortable. A few things could be better: there's no coffee in the room, and I expected a microwave alongside the roomy fridge. The blackout blinds let in light, so we hung blankets the second night. The light switches also flash red and green, so bring masking tape if you want the room completely dark. We really enjoyed the heated pool and spa after exploring, along with the big, welcoming lobby and its coffee and food choices. The courtyard has lots of seating and a fire pit lit each night. I asked about buying alcohol because I saw what looked like a draft beer dispenser, but was told the hotel was changing ownership and some amenities were on hold. I hope the new owners bring those options back so guests can buy wine and enjoy it outside. There are lawn games like cornhole and bocce ball, which my husband and I played our first night, plus board games in the lobby. I'd recommend staying here to families and adventurers.

A clean, comfortable, affordable little gem, just minutes from Joshua Tree and Pioneertown. I liked how the minimalist room had what I needed without clutter, so it felt open and roomy. Mine was on the first floor, facing the pool.

We loved our first stay at Field Station, especially for the value. We'd heard good things after many trips to AutoCamp but weren't sure what to expect. The room was clean and nicely minimal. The lobby and clubhouse are well organized, with useful things for a day in the park, and I could easily spend a day working in the lounge. It reminded me of an REI interior or a trendy coffee shop. Mojave Gold and other fun spots in Yucca Valley are nearby, and Pioneertown is a short drive away. We'll be back!
