The upgrade was beautiful, with a lovely view and extra room, and the hotel itself was clean and quiet. Check-in with the young woman was quick and personable. They have the newer coffee makers that grind the beans, too. It’s in a nice, safe part of town with plenty of places to eat. I’ve traveled from the West Coast to the East Coast twice in the last year and a half and stay at over 100 hotels a year. This was easily one of my top three. Highly recommend it for your next stay.

The rooms were clean, the beds soft and comfortable, and breakfast was hot with lots of choices. But we picked this hotel because of the pool, and nobody told us before check-in that it wasn’t heated. It was like ice, much too cold for my kids or grandbaby to swim in. I was really disappointed.

I chose this place because it advertised a heated pool, but when I got there the water was freezing. The website didn’t say it was out of order or unheated. They should have posted that the pool was temporarily not working and would be cold, so I could have picked another hotel.

Getting back on the road is easy since the hotel is so close to the freeway. I always stay here when passing through the area and it keeps delivering a reliable, pleasant visit. The rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast has a good range of choices, and the staff are friendly and focused on helping guests feel welcome. They really go out of their way. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at seven or eight Holiday Inn Express hotels on this trip, and this was one of our favorites, even though it was under construction like the others we booked. This one especially had work going on. The manager and assistant manager were pleasant and engaging to talk with. I was careful not to get in the guests’ way.
