I stayed here while I was in Jacksonville for a wedding. Many of the guests were from out of state, and the hotel had reserved several rooms for the event. They did a wonderful job accommodating everyone and making sure our rooms were together. The rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was very good, and the staff were pleasant. It was great.

The hotel and room were modern and very clean, with easy parking in a safe area just off the interstate. Check-in was simple, and the staff were great. The free breakfast was better than average compared with similar hotels I’ve stayed at. The only snag was the shower: at 10 a.m., the hot water took a long time to warm up, and one degree cooler would’ve been uncomfortable. I’d stay here again.

The room was nice, but I thought $160 was a bit much for a room that wasn’t especially luxurious and breakfast. The next night we paid $125 for a suite at another hotel. Go figure.

After a 10-hour drive, all I wanted was a bed and a hot shower, but the water was only lukewarm. Check-in came without a smile, either. I paid $175 for a king room and ended up taking a cold shower. What a disappointment and a waste of time and money. At least I didn’t see roaches like the other reviewer mentioned.

Stacey was a great representative at the desk. She greeted us with a big smile and plenty of Southern hospitality, and she was well trained with a wonderful personality. The room was exceptionally clean, and Vivian kept it spotless. I used to be in the military, and the beds passed inspection. They were so comfortable that we decided to stay another night. We usually stick to Holiday Inn Express because the rooms are consistently clean and updated, and the mattresses are comfortable. Thanks very much to Vivian and Stacey for a nice few days.
