Hampton Inn Zanesville

The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, and I enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is decent and does the job, though it feels dated in places and shows a little wear. I also had trouble with the bathtub faucet and drain.

There were a lot of road workers staying here, but the workers we met were very nice. Breakfast was good, too. The hotel is being remodeled, though it still feels old. Our sheets looked old and wrinkled, and we wondered if they had been changed, but we could have been mistaken. Everything else was clean.

Greg at the front desk was terrific when I checked in around 8:30 in the evening. He walked me through the amenities and suggested places to eat within walking distance. Then I found my room hadn't been made up: the bed was unmade, a used towel and washcloth were on the bathroom floor, and the trash was full. The hotel was completely booked, so changing rooms wasn't possible. Greg handled it promptly and professionally, refreshing the room himself. I'd stay again for the service from the staff alone.

The people here are so friendly they could be me! The location is great, and though my room was a little smaller than at other Hiltons, it was neat, clean, and modern. No complaints. They're just regular, really nice folks, and I'd happily stay again.
