Zillah Lakes Inn

We’ve stayed here many times and always had a great experience until this visit. The owner contacted my sister-in-law, who lives on the community, and wanted to charge her $50.00 to sit by the fireplace. They didn’t contact me, the guest. It was embarrassing and completely unprofessional, and I won’t stay here again. The prices are outrageous, and now they’re asking my guest for money to use the amenities instead of speaking to me. Absolutely ridiculous.

It’s a hidden gem for a quiet summer getaway with friends or family. The rooms overlook a pond that catches the morning sunrise, and the patios have roomy gondolas and beach-style chairs for relaxing. You can watch geese glide by, hear birds chirping, or see kayaks floating near the dock. There are plenty of activities around the grounds, and the whole place is impeccably clean.

Doug and Pam are so kind and caring, and their dinner suggestions were wonderful. Hop Town wood-fired pizza had fabulous pizza and wings! When we returned, the outside fire pit was already lit, and the fridge by the fireplace was stocked with goodies. They’ve thought of everything. The room was lovely, fresh, and very clean, and the beds were fit for a king. This charming inn is a real gem. I could go on and on, and I highly recommend it. ❤️

The grounds are stunning, and the views are gorgeous and peaceful. The rooms are charming, with the coziest beds, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. They lit the fire in the morning and again at night, and stocked a fridge with refreshments. Guests can also use the fishing gear and boats. My boys fished for hours and caught 11 fish! It was so relaxing to sit by the firepit with a glass of wine at night or coffee in the morning while watching my kids fall in love with the lake. We stayed to be near a baseball tournament in Yakima, but I’d absolutely come back for a few more days of relaxation. Highly recommend!
