The White Oak Inn

Bently, the pup, was a fun part of the stay. The fireplace made the evenings especially nice, and our room was fresh and very clean. This is a peaceful little inn in the Ohio Amish region, with really friendly staff and some of the best home cooking I’ve ever had. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We finally made it to Ohio and got to stay at Yvonne’s B&B after first meeting her online in a B&B owners group years ago. It was so nice to meet her in person. She, Ian, and the inn were just as wonderful as I expected. The breakfasts were amazing, and we had an outstanding dinner on our first night.

12/30/25 We brought Lucy and stayed in the Dogwood room, where we loved having a real fireplace. The property looked beautiful under the falling snow, and breakfast was so delicious. The host and hostess were warm and welcoming. It felt like home ❤️

Getting greeted by Yvonne, Ian, and their playful pup Bentley made us feel welcome right away. They were happy to meet new guests and showed us to the Red Bud Room in the guest house. It was clean and ready for us, with kindling set out for the fireplace. The room also had a king-sized bed, perfect for getting cozy with a book by the fire. The White Oak Inn sits quietly at the edge of Amish country, tucked against the woods at the bottom of a valley. It’s a beautiful little place for a break from the world and some time to unwind. Breakfast was included and delightful. I was glad we’d booked an extra dinner too. Yvonne made a wonderful meal, and Ian made sure it was presented beautifully. Dinner was comforting and delicious on that snowy night, and chatting with our hosts and the other guests was a lovely way to spend the evening.
