Residence Inn New York The Bronx At Metro Center Atrium

We were visiting Fordham and The Botanical Gardens, and the staff made the stay. Everyone was fantastic, especially at breakfast, where we were greeted cheerfully and checked on to make sure we had what we needed. The happy hour and bar bites were just right after a long day of travel. We left our daughter’s favorite pillow behind, but the team found it quickly and had it waiting at the front desk in a plastic bag to keep it clean. I can’t remember the last time housekeeping found something we’d left behind. As a platinum elite member, I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a clean stay and friendly staff.

The area was quiet, with plenty of shops nearby, and I’d recommend the hotel to anyone visiting NY. Matthew at the front desk was welcoming, professional, and patient with all my questions. Two mechanics came up to fix my TV and handled it quickly and kindly. Thanks again for all the support and care. Have a great stay!

We were there because my daughter had an interview at Jacobi hospital, and the location worked well for that. It is a bit far from Manhattan, which is why I took off a star, though we knew that going in. The hotel was clean and pleasant, with spacious rooms and a useful kitchen. The bathroom was roomy, and there was a separate area outside it so two people could get ready at once. The beds were extremely comfortable, and breakfast was very good each day. The woman running breakfast was so nice, greeting everyone and keeping the food fresh and stocked. The staff were excellent.

We were displaced by a fire, and this stay came during one of the worst weeks of our lives. The staff made us feel cared for rather than like just another reservation. Everyone was kind and accommodating, remembered what we were dealing with, and checked in when they could. They even turned on the patio fireplace when we asked and tried to make us comfortable. Naomi took great care of my ESAs and lifted a lot of stress off me. Winzell helped us extend our reservation for another night. Joseph got the computer station and printer working when we needed them for displacement paperwork, which mattered a lot while we were trying to keep life together. I’m sorry I can’t remember the bartender’s name, but she was wonderful. The music was always good, she looked after my drinks, and she listened while I vented. When they didn’t have Red Bull, she made me a vodka Red Bull after I bought my own. That was iconic of her. Breakfast was really good, and the staff were attentive. The two gentlemen who work weekends were sweet and helped put together breakfast to take upstairs for my mother. Thanks also to the cleaning crew for being patient and understanding about the mess in our pet-friendly rooms. I’m grateful to everyone there.
