Bungalows Atardecer

Sergio made us feel very welcome when I arrived with my dad in the middle of a storm. I hadn't really understood much when I made the reservation, so he explained everything to me. Our room was excellent and spotless, and getting around was easy. There's also a little shop where you can make meals. The beach is very close, about two or three blocks away. Thanks so much for such a pleasant stay. Everything was wonderful!

The facilities were well looked after, and the staff were really friendly. It was peaceful and pleasant, so we got a good rest. Everything was neat and well equipped, with the beach and town center close by. A great spot to take a break from routine. We'll be back!

We'd reserved from December 31st through January 4th on November 14th and paid a $5000 deposit. When we got in touch today to ask about check-in, we were told our booking had been canceled. Apparently, someone called to cancel under my partner's name, and they assumed it was us without checking anything. They said they couldn't cancel the later bookings made by other people, but ours was made first. The man treated us badly and said we'd have to leave if we showed up on the 31st, leaving us with nowhere to stay that day. His behavior was awful. We want our deposit returned or we'll file a complaint.

I've been going every year, sometimes even in the off-season, and booked a place for New Year's Eve a month and a half ago. Then I found out the owner had mysteriously deleted my reservation. I was lucky to write to him a week before and learn what happened. On the phone he was incredibly rude, hung up on me, and said, “Come with a lawyer, I don't care. However you come, you'll have to leave.” He never offered to put things right. Now he says the issue is that I smoke. Why accept my booking and deposit, then? He should've corrected his mistake instead of suggesting other places. He hasn't fixed anything and won't admit he was at fault.
