We had a nice four-day stay and would probably return, just not in winter. The building is new and the room cleaning was okay. Our 74m2 room for three was comfortable, though the shower was too narrow. The restaurant staff were very kind, but the menu had few choices. The pool was nice, but the water too cold. Getting luggage in and out was uncomfortable because there’s no usual drop-off spot by reception. Instead, you have to go around to the back parking area. It was a pleasant place overall, but we think it could be too cold in winter.

The room smelled awful, wasn’t fully clean, and the shower never got hot. I was meant to have a golf course view, but didn’t. The door lock system was strange and made the place feel like a “Motel 6” or something. Most of the front desk staff weren’t especially nice or helpful, though one woman was, and I can’t remember her name. I’m not usually someone who writes negative reviews, but this could not possibly be a 4-star hotel. At best, it was 2-star. I nearly packed up and went back to BA early because I didn’t want to spend the night. Calling it 4 stars is beyond deceiving. I would NOT recommend it.

It’s 2:30am and I can’t sleep because the noise is so bad. The streets seem to be used as race tracks, and the city government of Colonia del Sacramento seems not to care about tourists. EXTREMELY LOUD mufflers are apparently cheap to buy and install here, and neither the policy nor the representatives seem to care about the problem. The hotel owners should do something for tourists’ wellbeing. I really don’t know how anyone can sleep through all this.

The room was spacious and had an amazing view. The pool was nice, and the amenities were great. Sunrises and sunsets are something special here.

The location is absolutely beautiful, and the restaurant served good food with friendly service. Staff were helpful and very friendly, and they safely stored our luggage before check-in. We stayed one night with friends. The decor wasn’t “luxury” or anything, but it was totally acceptable, with a good-sized room and a little kitchenette. They supplied an electric kettle, cups, tea and coffee, which I loved. There’s also a small games room, pool, spa and gym, though we didn’t use those. Parking is available too. Definitely recommend this hotel!
