Getting around was easy: restaurants were just around the corner, and all the Colonia sights were within walking distance. This is a small hotel in the center of Colonia d. S., and it was very quiet. I stayed two nights, October 8th and 9th, 2015. The service was friendly, breakfast was nice, the rooms were clean and the WiFi worked well. The TV had Spanish only, with no BBC, CNN, or DW. A nice place for a short stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was okay for a night. But there were flies at the hotel entrance when we arrived, and finding a cockroach in the bathroom was really off-putting.

We left the key and got out of there, even though we'd already paid. The photos gave us a very different idea of the place, and the room wasn't worth the price; it would need to cost half as much to justify staying there. Luckily, we found another hotel and enjoyed our time in Colonia. God forbid!
