CasaChica Hotel

A bakery and small grocery shops are just around the corner, and some of José Ignacio's well-known restaurants are an easy walk away. The staff, including the restaurant team, were friendly and very helpful. We also loved the pool, especially the smaller heated one, and the rooftop terrace was a perfect place to watch the sunset. Covered parking is free. The design and overall look are exceptional. Our rooms had lots of natural light and great cross-ventilation, with blackout shades for late sleepers.

We really liked being a little away from the village, even though I had wondered if the location near the road would be a drawback. The hotel is set back far enough that you don't notice the main road, and there's an ocean view from the third-floor apartment. Ours had two bedrooms and three bathrooms. The grocery store nearby was well stocked, and we went there every day to get food to cook in the well-equipped kitchen. It's a beautiful modern boutique hotel with a great location and awesome staff. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk, and if you're lucky, some local dogs will accompany you. We also borrowed the hotel's bikes to explore the surrounding countryside. This place is a gem, and we'll return. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so good.

We spent a good part of each day by the pool, which had a great vibe. For a birthday stay, the team made reservations for us and went above and beyond: we arrived to a huge suite after an upgrade, then found a card and desserts waiting in the room on the birthday. There was even a sweet dog sleeping in the lobby at night, the cherry on top. The whole experience at Casagrande was fantastic from start to finish. We can't wait to come back to the Jose Ignacio area and stay here again.

The room is spacious and excellent, really more of a suite or apartment, and the beach I liked best was just a five-minute walk away. The staff are super friendly and helpful, with great English, which I needed since my Spanish is close to zero. They can arrange bookings at some of the best restaurants around. There's also a great bakery and a small supermarket around the corner. Guests can use bicycles, a beach umbrella, and two beach chairs for free. There's a pool and a terraza too, all for a decent price. I can only recommend it. I'm here for three nights and trying to decide whether to stay longer and miss my flight!
