Hotel Tres Cruces

I’ve stayed here several times and have NEVER had an issue with the staff or cleanliness. They’re always helpful and kind. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds, large screens and cable TV, roomy bathrooms, mini-fridges, and big wardrobes. If you get cold, you can switch on the A/C. Having a mini-fridge in every room is essential for me. Breakfast is fantastic, with coffee, tea, milk, several kinds of juice, yogurt, cereal, and as much as you like of different cakes and sweets. The city center isn’t that far, so walking there is a nice chance to exercise, sightsee, or window-shop. If you’d rather take a bus, CA1 leaves from in front of Tres Cruces Shopping every 15 minutes and goes straight to the center.

It was clean and comfortable, and the location around the corner from the bus terminal worked well. Good value for the money, with an okay breakfast too.

An ideal spot.

Stay somewhere else. The hotel was dirty, with roaches and other insects, and I found management rude and dishonest. At first they put me in an unclean room with a strong, unpleasant smell. When I asked why, they said there were no other rooms. I requested a refund and contacted the booking agency to complain. When I went back to the lobby to press for a refund, another room on the 8th floor suddenly became available. It also hadn’t been cleaned properly, and there were roaches and other insects in the bathroom. The manager, Oscar, and a staff member, Ana, were dismissive and disrespectful. Avoid this hotel.
