Quijano Hotel - Aparts & Suites

We left our vehicle at the parking lot they own around the corner, Parking San Jose, after renting a room there on Saturday the 14th. When we came back the next day, this is what we found. They said they’d send me the security videos, but four days later told me they couldn’t do anything. They still charged us for the full service. This was the worst experience of my life. Stay away!

Having parking included was a nice bonus. I loved the hotel for its comfort, service, and location. Paulo looked after us and gave us excellent service. Thanks again!

What stood out most to me was how much care everyone at the hotel put into looking after guests and addressing their concerns. Our standard room had a small street-facing balcony. It wasn’t huge, but it was comfortable, with very good beds, mattresses, sheets, bath towels, and hand towels. There was ample wardrobe space, plus an electric kettle, outlets, cups, spoons, glasses, and a nice little refrigerator. The breakfast was decent and complete: tea, yogurt, cereal, fruit, homemade bread, including sliced white bread, a toaster, butter, jam, fruit salad, cold cuts, cheese, and sweets such as little cakes, cornstarch alfajores, and croissants. We liked being in the old city, near the fountain with the locks. There are all sorts of restaurants and shops nearby, as well as public transport that goes everywhere. And again, the staff’s care for guests was the best part of the stay.

The triple room was spacious and had a kitchen with cutlery, pots, a microwave, and an extractor fan. The air conditioning handled the large room very well. I wasn’t as happy with the beds, which I found uncomfortable, and the bidet had very little water pressure. The wifi was average. Breakfast was acceptable, and the service was friendly and attentive, which left me very satisfied.
