The location is excellent, and the rooms are a bit dated but fine. Parking fits six cars, though they block one another in, so getting in or out with a car can be tricky.

You can really enjoy Piriápolis without a car here. The inn is right by the beach and in the middle of town, close to bars, restaurants, ice cream shops, convenience stores, pharmacies, a casino, and more. It’s next to McDonald's and above a restaurant with excellent drinks and fresh seafood, and hotel guests get discounts there. Umbrellas are available, and beach chairs are already in the rooms. The terrace by the entrance is great for spectacular sunsets, or for spending a summer night with family or your partner watching the moon, stars, and sea. You can fall asleep to the waves, too. It’s an old building, with only four parking spots, and some rooms are dark. But the rooms and bathrooms are a good size, everything is clean, and the towels, sheets, and fairly comfortable mattresses were all in good shape. There’s TV and cable, and a bigger TV in the lounge for watching a favorite series. Room 001 has very cold air conditioning and a little inside patio for drying clothes and towels. There are live plants there, so please water them if you can. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with pastries, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, orange juice, and fruit including watermelon, melon, bananas, oranges, apples, and peaches. The coffee could be better, and some unsalted, sugar-free choices would be nice, but overall it’s good value. We found the kitchen staff, cleaning staff, receptionists, and others kind and efficient, and the service was excellent. We did have a difficult experience with an Argentinian family who were very demanding, repeatedly asking for plant-based milk and for the receptionist to clean the terrace tables. It made us uncomfortable. We’re a couple in our 50s with two adult children in their 20s, and planned a family holiday from December 24th/25th to December 31st/January 1st. We picked Piriápolis for the beach, ocean views, breakfast being available when we woke up, and the lively party along the waterfront promenade after midnight. It goes on until dawn, with people of all ages, from young mothers with strollers to elderly people, sitting in beach chairs with family, friends, and neighbors, listening to music and toasting. December 31st is my daughter’s birthday, so we always look for a nice place that works for young people. Warm regards to the staff.

You can watch the sunset from the room, which feels special, and the hotel is right by the beach. It’s a peaceful place, and the homemade breakfast has a range of things I haven’t seen at other hotels, including cakes and other specialties. What stood out most was the staff’s warmth and humanity. It’s a wonderful place, unlike the usual hotel, and not to be missed.

The rooms were just like the pictures, with spotless sheets and towels, and the service was spectacular. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and had lots of variety. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.
