The garden outside, along with the BBQ and pool, made a great space to enjoy. The owner was helpful and sorted out a small issue quickly during our four-night stay. The fixtures and fittings could use an upgrade, and the location meant we had to drive to eat or get to the beach.

The breakfast isn’t hotel-style: there are fresh extras from the greenhouse for tea, plus fresh bread. You’re in good hands here, with consistently good service at any time. The staff are open-minded and responsive to what guests want. There’s plenty to enjoy, including a lounge, kitchen, library, pool, hammocks and even a fire pit, and massages are available too. Splendid accommodation, and Punta del Diablo is lovely as well. Get your bus ticket and come.

Sebastian was a kind, helpful host who shared tips on what to see and how to explore the area. The place was very clean and had everything I needed for some great days in Punta del Diablo. Awesome place!

Seba is super kind, and the kitchen facilities were great. We loved Punta del Diablo’s town and beaches, but Posada de la Viuda was so lovely and relaxing that we could happily have stayed inside the whole time. Such a great find, and there’s nothing we’d change. It’s one of the best places we’ve stayed during six months of traveling around South America.

The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. It’s peaceful here, with a lovely view, and close enough to downtown while still feeling quiet. I’d highly recommend staying here.
