It's in a peaceful spot, and the apartments are equipped with everything you need. The facilities were impeccable, the pool gorgeous, and all the spaces very well cared for. We were warmly welcomed, and they stayed attentive to what we needed. A beautiful place, highly recommend it!

We stayed for a weekend as a couple in one of the two person lofts. The complex is calm and peaceful, with a pool, fire pit, and outdoor seating area, and it's very well maintained. Our apartment had everything, including a private grill that was fully equipped. They really have thought of all the details. We'd definitely return, and the service was excellent!

The care put into keeping everything clean really stood out. Our upstairs studio apartment was spotless, and the linens and towels smelled freshly washed. In plenty of places the sheets are clean but the bedspreads aren't, so I was impressed. Ana Laura, the owner, was also so kind and attentive whenever we needed anything. We loved the balconies, one small one at the front with a clothesline and clothespins, and a bigger one at the back with a grill, firewood, newspaper for lighting it, two chairs, and a table. The apartment was beautiful, the bed super comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed, even complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The heated pool area was great for afternoons when it gets a bit windy in Punta del Diablo. It has chairs, lounge chairs, an umbrella, a shower, and a bathroom. Every detail, from the pool to the apartments, is so carefully looked after, inside and out. The facilities matched the description and photos. Il Pensiero is WONDERFUL. We'd definitely stay again on our next vacation.

We booked successfully through Booking.com and gave up other options because we chose this accommodation. A few days later they canceled, saying there had been an error. They asked us to switch apartments, which we accepted, but wouldn't keep the original price. Since the mistake was theirs and Booking.com's, they should have sorted it out in the tourist's favor, perhaps by offering another room even if it cost more. Instead, they penalized the people who had chosen them and booked correctly. The way they handled it was appalling, and their treatment of tourists was extremely poor and unprofessional.
