Los Pecados de la Viuda

February 2026 update: We rarely return to the same place, but we fell in love with Los Pecados de la Viuda and came back. It's still a quiet retreat, away from noise, with plenty of space and a peaceful feel. You can hear the sea and birds. The rooms were just as immaculate as before, with every detail well maintained. We really enjoyed the pool, and the warm wooden hot tub at night was spectacular for relaxing. Guadalupe and Sebastián are excellent hosts, friendly and always available if you need anything. For a comfortable, peaceful vacation, this is a great choice. Booking directly with them costs less than using online platforms. We're already thinking of returning next year, even though we almost never stay in the same place twice. February 2025 update: We booked five days through Booking.com, though booking directly through their Instagram is a tip worth knowing. We liked the accommodation so much that we asked to add two more days. Luckily, our room was available, so we extended and paid by bank transfer. The owners deserve congratulations for keeping everything immaculate and so well planned. The property covers over 3,000 m², giving it a spacious, private, and peaceful feel. It's away from the center, which helps you disconnect, but just two blocks from the beach. There are no nearby neighbors and hardly any cars go by. We requested an upstairs room and were lucky to get one with a spectacular view. A jasmine vine surrounds it, adding a fragrant, almost magical touch. The room has air conditioning, a complete kitchen with a four-burner stove and oven, an efficient heater that would be useful in winter, and a full set of dishes and tableware. It also has pans, pots, baking dishes, a pizza pan and cutter, sharp knives and scissors, an electric kettle, and an electric griddle for toasting or cooking. The bathroom comes with toiletries and a hairdryer. Towels were spotless and smelled delightfully clean, and the room itself was immaculate. There were complimentary chocolates on arrival, a lovely touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the spacious balcony has a clothesline for beach or pool things. The heated pool was spotless and comfortable. At night, the wooden hot tub is heated to around 45°C (113°F), a special feature that was perfect for unwinding before bed. The garden was dreamy and beautifully kept, and two barbecue grills were available. Sebastián and Guadalupe were attentive and helpful, with great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The complex has three friendly dogs and a cat. ABRIL, a playful, loving dog, came along to the pool without getting in the way. CASCABEL, our favorite tabby cat, visited the balcony, lay on the bed, and let us cuddle him as much as we wanted. He was so affectionate and sweet that we'd have taken him home if he weren't theirs. We loved everything: the quiet, spectacular views, well-kept facilities, thoughtful details, friendly animals, heated pool and hot tub, and available grills. It was more than a 5-star stay, it was a 6-star one. We'd recommend it and will definitely return. We loved it enough to extend the stay by two days.

Sebastián was a fantastic host, and the location is truly privileged. The apartments are well-equipped, and the garden is gorgeous, with a lovely hot tub, heated pool, and play area for children. Highly recommended.

We found everything we needed here, and the host was so welcoming and attentive. The place is lovely, cozy, clean, and well set up, both inside the apartment and outside in the garden and shared areas. There's a pool, hot tub, and barbecue too. It's an excellent place to relax, and we highly recommend staying here. We'd certainly like to come back!

We felt right at home. The rooms are great, with everything you need, and the pool and garden are lovely. There are also two really great dogs who like going for walks. Highly recommended!
