The nature here is gorgeous: the trees, birds, flowers, and animals were all lovely, and watching the tourists was fun too. The comadrejas hunting at night were super cool. Breakfast had tons of variety, Camila the server was very nice, and the only woman at the front desk, whose name I can’t remember, was helpful. The pool was nice. The spa was okay, though I felt sad for the captive fish in the tank, they didn’t look happy. I liked the old-fashioned decorations. The security guard on the front shift had an ugly, disrespectful, angry, and rude attitude. I arrived late and tired, coming from the snow to summer in Punta del Este Uruguay. He checked me in and kept my US AMERICAN 🇺🇸 ID. He didn’t help at all, quite the opposite. The next day I had to ask for my American ID back. He had kept my documents. I had to leave at 6 am and asked for a wake-up call, but Gonzalo the security never woke me up. He didn’t even say good morning or help with my luggage. I called an Uber myself, then had to carry all my bags down four stairs to it. He was probably sleeping at the front desk. Horrible customer service.

It’s a shame, especially for the employees who really do try their best, but the hotel is a two-star place. It’s not maintained, there’s no air conditioning, and all the installations are very old and uncared for.

The pool and garden were the only pluses. The organisation was bad, and I was kicked out because of a double booking with no compensation. The bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, and the drain didn’t work. Breakfast was really poor with little choice, and staff rolled their eyes when I asked them something in English. I’d strongly advise against staying there.

A great choice for a group meeting, and I’d fully recommend it. The beach is a five-minute walk away. There are three pools, lush gardens, lots of birdsong, and free gym access. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all had a good selection. The staff were friendly and did their jobs perfectly. It would be nice to stay here for a couple of weeks 😍.

The staff were so kind and helpful, and breakfast was the best I’ve had in Punta!! The room was cozy with a pretty modern shower. Such a beautiful place, with an awesome pool and spa. I’d recommend it to anyone.
