The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and the Wi-Fi was amazingly fast. For about 150 dollars for three nights, we had a really nice stay, and the breakfast was okay too. The private room could use a little attention: some paint on the walls and cobwebs cleaned from the ceiling. Thanks for a good visit.

The people here made my first trip to Uruguay feel like home, and I left with so much gratitude. Felipe helped me get my phone back during a stressful moment and handled it without hesitation. Katy was always smiling and kind, Fer was responsible and serious about his work, and I spent many lovely afternoons with him. Jope kept us company on many nights and made each one feel special. The whole team is attentive and helpful, and you can see the care they put into making the stay personal. Hostel del Puerto made my visit truly special, and I'd definitely return.

The location, facilities, and atmosphere are all fantastic, but the people are what made the place for us. Staying at Hostel del Puerto felt like being at a friend's home, and our work season wouldn't have been the same without them. Kate was always ready to help, Fer felt like a guardian angel, and Pipe ran the morning music with impeccable taste. JoPe, a cultured skater and true brother from Ciudad del Este, is naturally helpful. Katherine, Ivete, Felipe, Fernando, and José Pedro, dear JoPe, we're so grateful and wish you all the best. Here's to another season together. That kind of synergy is hard to repeat. Thank you.

The kitchen has plenty of room and is well equipped, with several bathrooms and great hot water. There are lots of spots to unwind, with lounge chairs and umbrellas. The cleaning lady does a great job every day, and the service was excellent. I've stayed at many hostels in Punta del Este, and this is easily my favorite. They said they'd be back on the 26th/27th, fully recharged. Much respect.
