Oasis Parque Hotel

Really good place, with kind, friendly staff. The swimming pool is warm, and it’s close to the beach and market. I’d recommend it.

This is a handy little hotel, but the rooms and bathrooms could use some improvement. The pool also needs cleaning every day.

The service here is splendid. The owner runs the place himself, and both the reception and service staff were impeccable, very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, and breakfast was a complete 10/10. The kitchen has what you need to make toast, heat food, prepare hot sandwiches, get hot water for mate and use bottled water. There’s a barbecue and a grill by the pool in the shared patio, with space to relax, sunbathe, lie down or drink mate. The garden is leafy and very shady. The hotel is beautiful from every angle and close to Mansa Beach, while Brava Beach is far away on the opposite side. It has two pools, one heated and one cold, which children will love. A good choice for older people and anyone who gets tired of the sea.

Charging $130 a night for a hotel in this state is shameful. The lack of maintenance was appalling: there were no hand towels in the bathroom, and the shower had been patched with electrical tape and leaked more water toward the ceiling than downstairs. We only stayed in the pool for five minutes because there was so much debris floating in it. Deplorable. I’ve never felt so ripped off. I guess that’s Punta del Este’s inflated pricing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
