Right in the middle of everything, but still quiet enough to get some rest. The views were great and the pool in the basement seemed ok. The rooms are really dated. Mine had just one outlet, no mini fridge, and a window shade that didn't work. The shower was great, with loads of space and strong water pressure. The gym and jacuzzi were a joke. The gym had three outdated, broken pieces of equipment and two dumbbells that weren't even the same weight. The jacuzzi was a cheap inflatable tub for two, with disgusting water, and it wouldn't turn on. Breakfast was hit or miss: some days there was plenty, including eggs and a decent selection, and other days it was completely empty of things they'd had the day before. The garage across the street had a loud buzzer that went off whenever cars came or went. At $150 a night, I'd rather stay somewhere else.

A nice climatized pool and an ok breakfast, plus helpful staff and a really clean hotel. The Peninsula location makes this a place I keep coming back to. I could relax in the superior room and watch the Atlantic Ocean, and the long hot showers with strong pressure were great.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was decent, and the location was good. The rest of the room was a mess: the bathroom knob came off in my hand, the wardrobe was hanging off a hinge, and none of the TV channels worked. The fridge was missing a leg, and cleaning hadn't been done properly because there were tobacco remains on the floor. Breakfast was literally just some bread.

It's a small hotel right in the middle of Punta del Este's peninsula, and the facilities are quite good for rates that aren't expensive. The hotel itself is OK, but management lets it down. We had trouble with the swimming pool reservations and with the breakfast cafeteria. It's a pity, given the place has a lot going for it.

The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and the location was great. The only issue was cloudy water in the pool. Everything else was great.
