The lobby is beautiful, the Wi-Fi is good, and the desk staff were very helpful even though we speak only a little Spanish. It looks upscale, but has cheaper rooms as well as expensive ones, and the budget rooms are well maintained. Just before high season, we paid thirty USD a night for a private room and bathroom, a block from the beach or a 30-minute walk from the peninsula. It was impeccably clean and had a private jacuzzi, though the jets didn’t work.

The location is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. For its category, this is one of Punta del Este’s best hotels for the price and quality.

The people working here are kind, and it’s a nice place to stay. Breakfast is available and includes milk, coffee, tea, bread, cake, fruit, and other things. Just watch the checkout timing: the receptionist arrives at 8:30am, so if you need to check out overnight or early in the morning, it’s better to do it the day before.

There was a sewer smell in the room, and it was really uncomfortable to stay inside.

The hotel feels dated, and the service was poor. The staff didn’t speak any English and wouldn’t even try. The rooms are large and have good AC, but on the second floor the shower had neither hot water nor pressure. When we extended our stay, they tried to charge us more for those days and only agreed to a lower price after I showed them the cheaper rate on Booking.
