Teresa and her son Ismael cooked truly authentic meals and made us feel very welcome. We spent two nights with Brandi and Marco during our Uruguay road trip in October 2025. Marco was a delight to talk with, enthusiastically telling us about his Estancia and life in Uruguay. The place itself is beautiful, and Quebrada de los Cuervos national park is about a 45-minute drive away, making it ideal for a day trip.

Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were so gracious and welcoming, with helpful local information. The hacienda is beautiful, with comfortable, well-kept rooms in a peaceful pine plantation. A fantastic place to stay!

Dinner here is excellent and makes a good alternative to the roadside restaurants. It’s quiet and peaceful, and the hosts and their friendly dog make guests feel welcome. Probably one of the top places to stay in Uruguay. A great place.

Our room was spacious and stylish, with a balcony overlooking greenery, and the bed was ultra comfortable. Pinos de la Quebrada has a peaceful setting and a warm, homely feel. We arrived to a smiling owner, and the pine-lined drive, large gate and charming elegant farmhouse made it feel like the start of a magical stay. The house has been tastefully redone while keeping its original features. The food was delicious, and any small request, whether hot water, extra coffee, a good bottle of wine or a salad, was promptly taken care of. We could have stayed longer at the estancia. Thanks, Rafael, for the chats, information, and the philosophical and life experiences we exchanged. This is certainly a stay to remember. Best wishes to you all. I spent three wonderful days relaxing here. It’s in such a beautiful area, and Brandi and Marco are wonderful hosts and people. The place is perfect.
