The location was OK, though there seem to be better hotels nearer the city sights. Service wasn’t great. They wanted to charge 20 USD for a drain on a towel and got very aggressive about it. My room was right across from reception, and several people mistook it for the lift. I could hear everything happening outside, despite the website saying the rooms are soundproofed. There were no tea or coffee facilities, bedside lamp, desk chair, or TV remote. The air con remote had flat batteries, though they did fix that. Disappointed overall.

Read all the rules and fine print at check-in, especially if you’re arriving with a large group, since it’s easy to miss them. They demanded USD $20 per towel for even the smallest smudge. At checkout they went straight to the room and then started demanding payment, very rudely. A lot of people were asked to pay. After several refused, everyone walked away. The towels were incredibly rough and hard. For my two-day stay, my room was given only half of a small roll of toilet paper. There were a lot of angry people.

The rooms are good and spacious, and the location is convenient for the tourist areas. Breakfast was quite limited, with no buffet, only a few items, and no juice when I went. I stayed two nights, but staff didn’t replace our towels or toiletries. They were also very rigid, and I had to call several times to get tissues and water.

The location is handy, within walking distance of both the old and new city, and the room was decent. Breakfast was so limited I had to ask for milk for my tea. I’m giving one star because the staff were rigid and had a bad attitude. We didn’t see any other guests during the stay, even at breakfast, so we may have been the only ones there. Still, they flatly refused our request to check out at 2 PM instead of noon. When I pointed out that all the rooms were vacant, they said it was none of my business. We were given two small bottles of water per day, and when we asked for more, they said we’d have to pay since we’d already received the day’s supply. Basic guest requests like these couldn’t be accommodated, so it’s no surprise there are empty rooms despite the prime location. It’s unfortunate. I’d suggest tourists consider the many other hotels along the same road.

I stayed here during an Uzbekistan trip with global connect tours. It seemed newly built, in May 2025. The hotel is on the main road, so you can drive right up, while still being close to historic sites and restaurants. The farthest one, Ark fortress, is 1.5 kms on foot and takes 30 mins. Breakfast was very basic.
