Ali, the night-shift receptionist, was especially attentive and spoke excellent English. He made me feel very welcome, and the rest of the staff were wonderful too. I found the building full of character, with traditional architecture and a peaceful courtyard that used to be a madrasa. It's one of the quietest, most relaxing places I've found in Bukhara, lovely for morning tea or a rest after exploring the old city. My room was spotless and comfortable, with everything I needed, and breakfast had a great range of fresh, local options. I'll definitely stay at Minzifa Boutique Hotel again next time I'm in Bukhara. Highly recommend it for a peaceful, authentic stay in the old town.

Breakfast offered plenty of choice. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. When we were shown to our room and opened the door, the character of the place was almost overwhelming. I've never stayed anywhere with so much of it.

Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were quite polite. The washrooms felt a bit too small to me, and not having a bidet was a buzz killer, as with most hotels and guest houses in Uzbekistan. This is an old house retrofitted as a guest house, so comfort is decent for a short stay rather than what you'd expect from a hotel designed for tourists. It has a charm of its own, and you'll appreciate it best with that in mind. The heritage property once belonged to Jewish merchants, and has unique architecture, an old rustic feel, and good access to tourist hotspots. Definitely worth a stay.

I looked through many stores before finding just the right Suzani tapestry at the family-run Minzifa Boutique Hotel in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Their small shop has a beautiful selection of Suzani tapestries and other handcrafted textiles, with quality pieces at fair prices. The breakfast room also displays antique Suzani pieces, so be sure to look at those too. Highly recommended if you're after authentic textiles and warm hospitality.

The staff at Minzifa Boutique Hotel in Bukhara were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, and Kuvonch handled each of our requests with a smile and real kindness. Many thanks to him and his colleagues. The place itself is beautiful, and we highly recommend it. Myriam
