The location is great, breakfast was good, and the staff were very kind. But the rooms were in such poor shape that I can't recommend staying here. There were gaps between the walls and floor, spiders in our room, a broken bathroom light, and no doorknob. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the rooms were dirty and badly maintained. We chose the guesthouse because it had good ratings on Booking and Google Maps. Other guests staying there at the same time told us their rooms were just as bad, and they had checked out early. We heard they were asked not to post reviews because staff were worried about losing their jobs. After we checked out and left an honest review on Booking, the manager asked us to delete it and said he would order new mattresses that day. I can't say whether he did. The manager seems to be a big part of the problem, and the ratings on Booking and here don't reflect the actual condition of the guesthouse.

A decent place overall. The room, breakfast, service, and location were all good. There was a pump beside my room that made noise at night, though I still managed to sleep okay. I'd rate it 4.5 if that were an option.

We spent five nights here and had a great stay. The place has a lovely feel, and the rooftop terrace is a beautiful spot to sit. It's also very central for getting to the main attractions. Vazira was caring and kind, and helped make us comfortable. Breakfast each morning was wonderful too. I'd happily stay here again.

This “hostel” hotel was a favorite, and breakfast is included. The price is fair, and sharing a room makes it even more affordable, almost a little luxury on a backpacker budget. I'd especially recommend it for couples. The photos don't capture how beautiful the place is. The staff were lovely, and the woman working there was one of the sweetest people I met during my time in Central Asia. The rooms feel comfortable and private, and the location is hard to beat. One air conditioner wasn't working, but they moved me to another room right away. The sheets also shifted around a lot while I slept, which was annoying.

A really pretty place with a nice atmosphere and design, plus a rooftop area where you can relax and take in the view. The rooms were clean and nice, the staff were friendly and the service was great. Excellent location and very good value for money. Highly recommended.
