After many trips, I decided to add an extra day here. Gosnis and Sahar are places I’ve had the pleasure of visiting, and I wholeheartedly recommend this one. I don’t think you’ll regret it.

I stayed here on October 26 because I had to get to the train station early the next morning. The location made it easy to get a car, and my room was clean. It was relatively inexpensive for Bukhara. Communicating in English was a little difficult, but the staff were so sincere and nice that I enjoyed my stay. Since it’s right by the road, some rooms may be affected by noise.

The rooms facing the courtyard staircase are worth knowing about: with the curtains open, other people can see in, though the sunrise probably won’t wake you. That didn’t bother me. Otherwise, this new, clean hotel was the best place I stayed in Uzbekistan. It feels spacious and luxurious, with a warm bathroom, good water pressure, a fridge, and a kettle. Breakfast was excellent. Head left for sights or right for very good restaurants without touristy trappings or just-okay food.
