We were just a few minutes' walk from the old town. A taxi is easy too, at around 15,000 Uzbek Som, or about £1. The room was huge and very clean. We had the hardest pillows we've ever slept on, but when we asked for softer ones, they brought them over quickly. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Karina, who took care of us at breakfast and helped with other things.
