The host was friendly, and breakfast was very nice. We had booked a double bed but were given a room with two beds. We were too tired to ask about changing rooms, though perhaps they could have fixed it if we'd asked.

The location was very good, and the basic rooms were very clean. The owner was helpful the whole time, and breakfast was really, really nice with plenty of choices. Best of all, the owner recommended Maqsad as a city guide. Her English was very good, and the tour was detailed and interesting. I'd definitely recommend her as a guide in Bukhara.

The rooms were clean, and Uncle Kolya served breakfast so warmly. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome. This was one of the best stays of our trip, and we had a lovely time.

Uncle Kolya has a lot of charisma, and breakfast was great, with fresh fruit, pancakes, samsa, egg dumplings and more. The hotel is good value and ideally placed near all the sights.

I felt uneasy when the owner came into our room several times to collect personal belongings without properly telling us first. The bathroom smelled bad, and water spread across the floor. The room itself wasn't good. They charged 30k som for the washing machine without telling us in advance, and we had to supply our own washing powder because they didn't have any. The owner also tried to get more money from us for the Yandex taxi. I found him unreliable.
