Zargaron Boutique-hotel

The views from our room and the breakfast table were beautiful, a peaceful way to start the day. We spent two nights in Bukhara, and the hotel made it a memorable stay. It's close to the main attractions, which made exploring easy, and our room was cozy, clean and well heated despite the freezing weather outside. The staff were always smiling, friendly and helpful. They marked our anniversary with complimentary herbal tea and cheesecake, a really thoughtful gesture. The in-house restaurant, Zargaron, has a wide range of dishes. As vegetarians, we were glad to find plenty of good options, which can be hard while traveling. It felt like a five-star stay, and we'd definitely choose it again.

We were happy with our stay. The room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was good. Kalan Minaret is only a 30-second walk away, and nearby sights like Ark Of Bukhara are also within walking distance. One thing was strange and worrying: another guest could open our room door while we were inside. That's dangerous.

The restaurant has a lovely view, and the hotel is right beside the Minor. Our room was spacious, very clean, and warm and cosy even though we visited in winter and it was bitterly cold outside. Breakfast and lunch were included in our package, and both tasted great. The hotel sits in the UNESCO Heritage zone, so taxis can only take you so far and you have to walk the rest of the way, but it’s worth it. The owners and staff were courteous and helpful.

We stopped at the terrace restaurant for coffee and honey cake. The view was really beautiful, and the service was amazing. I’ve been to more than 30 countries, and this was one of the best honey cakes I’ve had anywhere. Definitely try it.
