That bathroom smell in some rooms may come from the old plumbing. The plumbing and bathroom cabinets are dated, though nothing is broken and everything works. The rooms themselves are very clean. I’ve stayed at two other hotels in the region for 1-2 weeks and checked out at least five besides this one. This is the best of them. Breakfast is a generous buffet with plenty of meat and dairy, and the staff are quick to help when needed, unlike the others I tried. For longer stays, having a fridge, kettle with tea, coffee and sugar, a desk, and a coffee table in each room is especially convenient and comfortable.

The place is clean and the food is delicious, but make sure to order early.

The service is very poor. When I asked where I could pray, they showed me a space that was described as inviolable.
