Feruzkhan Hotel

The hotel is right in the heart of Itchan Kala, beside Islam-Khodja Minaret and Kalta-minor Minaret. Cafe Zarafshon Resturant, known for its rooftop view of Kalta-minor Minaret, is a one-minute walk away. The hotel is very clean and has a historic feel, since it's an old Madrass converted into a hotel. Breakfast is served each morning in the open courtyard, and the free WiFi was fast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived well before check-in because of an early flight, and they let us leave our bags at reception while we explored.

There's so much history here, and the courtyard is beautiful. The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is great, and it feels safe. I hope the hotel always has guests.

The location was great and the rooms were OK, but the service was awful. I stayed two nights and found long dark hairs in the bathroom that weren't mine. There was no housekeeping on the second day, which felt unhygienic when used toilet paper has to go in a bucket instead of being flushed. At least take out the trash every day. Room for improvement.

It was cosy staying in a unique old school building right in the city center. Inside, the room was renovated and clean. The staff were super hospitable, and I'd definitely recommend the place.
