This was our favorite stay in Uzbekistan. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and good AC. The shower and bathtub had hot water and strong pressure, and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was fantastic, with a nice omelette, homemade bread, and apricot jam from the garden. Our host was warm and professional, a true gentleman. He greeted us, held doors, helped with our bags, and checked that we were comfortable. For our early flight, he arranged a taxi, got up with us at 5:30am, and had cold bottled water and our airport registration cards ready in a takeaway box. As he put us in the car, he even reminded us, “passport, money, phone?” It was such a sweet, fatherly thing to say. The hospitality was exceptional, and we hope to return one day.

The guesthouse is well placed inside the fortress, and my room was very clean and nicely equipped. I had a wonderful stay. The host is a true gentleman, so welcoming and lovely to talk with. Thanks again for making the visit such a great one.

We were made to feel welcome and could check in early after arriving on the Sharq from Bukhara. The guesthouse is right in the central part of the walled city, and Orzu helped us arrange a fortress tour at a good price. We were very happy with it. Breakfast was outstanding, and the stay was so comfortable that we’d come back.

Shakir is a gentleman, and his family has lived in this 120 years old house for four generations. The rooms are spacious, bright, and all in order. We were delighted to spend the night there.

The hosts at Orzu B&B were sweet and welcoming, and they arranged a taxi for our departure. We only had a day in Khiva, and the B&B is just a 4 min walk from Kalta Minor minaret. The rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious, and we loved our stay. Five stars for the experience.
