I stayed on the ground floor and got a really nice stay for a very low price. The jacuzzi tub was a bonus, and at about 26 USD it felt like a great deal for a foreign visitor. A real little gem.

The rooms were dusty, and the mattresses were so worn that springs stuck out. I had to sleep on the floor. At reception I was quoted different prices, then had to pay an extra 100,000 som for this junk. They wouldn't accept cards and insisted on cash. Awful.
The location is the one big positive, but there are far too many problems. I was on the first floor. The toilet and beds were dirty, there were no slippers, and the air conditioning didn't work. The pipes were rusty and had a bad smell.
The staff were helpful, but the facilities were in terrible shape. My second-floor bathroom reeked of sewage, the room light wouldn't come on, possibly because of a loose connection, and the air conditioner wouldn't switch on or off. The hairdryer quit after a few minutes. They only provided soap, and, as I'd somewhat expected, the shower didn't have enough hot water. It felt like an old hotel that hadn't been maintained.
