The location was great, next to the old town and within walking distance of the train station. The house was super clean, with high ceilings, and our room was incredibly big. We had our own dining room with a big table, which was great since one of us had to work, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff member Sanjar was super friendly and tried to help whenever we needed anything. The wifi connection worked great. We liked the place so much that we stayed six nights, and couldn't have chosen a better one.

The family atmosphere here is wonderful, and the owner is so kind and helpful. The rooms have reliable internet, hot water from a boiler, and comfortable beds. One of the best places in Khiva, with hospitality to match.

The location works well, halfway between the old city and the train station. Rooms are large, breakfast is generous, and I’d recommend it 👍

The owner's son was at reception and was extremely polite and professional, though he apparently couldn't make decisions. My own experience was very different: we booked through Booking.com, but at check-in they put us in a much smaller, worse room without the balcony we had booked. They said the toilet in our original room was leaking, then said it didn't work at all when we replied that a leak wouldn't be a big issue. We were told we could cancel and leave if we weren't happy, and that's what we ended up doing. Customer service felt lacking. They could at least have offered a small discount or some other gesture. There were plenty of ways to ease the situation instead of escalating things, especially after giving us something completely different from what we'd booked and paid for.
