The room was stylish and comfortable, and I really enjoyed the good-quality breakfast. Arka Hotel’s architecture is special, and the whole place has a warm, relaxing feel. The staff were kind and made sure we felt welcome and looked after. One practical suggestion for hotels that often welcome Iranian guests: adding a water hose or bidet spray beside the toilet could make a big difference. Using one is common in Iran, and many Iranians find tissue alone difficult for cleaning. It would help guests feel more comfortable and accommodated. I recommend Arka Hotel to anyone visiting Samarkand.

The rooms at Arka Boutique Hotel feel new, are super clean, and have a lovely style. Breakfast was fantastic too. Anbar, the owner, and the staff were all so nice and helpful. On my last night they even invited me to share a toast and some food, and we had a good chat. I’d just come back from a short break in Samarkand, and I’m glad I picked this place after reading the Google reviews. I recommend Arka 300%! Thanks, Anbar and team!

My friend and I stayed at Arka for two nights while travelling from Singapore to Uzbekistan. Samarkand was our second-to-last stop, and the owner and staff made it so much better with their top-notch hospitality and warm welcome. The room was perfect, and I loved the super comfortable bed. We’re very grateful to everyone at Arka Hotel for making us feel so welcome. Anvar, who runs the place, was especially kind and helpful, and he was so sweet and engaging with our 1-year-old daughter. That meant a lot to us. A big thank you as well to Shohruh, Aziza, and Firus for their kindness and hospitality. We had a wonderful stay in Samarkand.
