My friend recommended this hotel, and my mom and I were very happy with our choice when we stayed at the end of January 2026. We arrived a little early and they checked us in right away, which we really appreciated since I know that isn't always possible. The staff were always willing to answer our questions. Breakfast had so many choices and was amazing. I don't eat meat, but there were plenty of delicious options for me. The freshly renovated room and welcoming atmosphere were lovely, and everyone was very friendly. At first I thought we'd be a bit far from the main sights, but it wasn't a big deal once we realized taxis were cheap and convenient. I highly recommend it for a future visit to Samarkand.

The staff deserve special thanks for being so kind and caring. I felt fully supported, and as a woman traveling alone, I felt welcomed and protected here. The hotel and my room were very clean, and I had everything I needed. Most of the sacred sites are close enough to walk to. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Samarkand. The location is excellent, and you can walk to all the historic sites. There's also a terrace with a view of bibi Khanum mosque. Breakfast was fresh and nice, and the welcoming staff made us feel at home. The rooms are a little small but clean. We stayed in two different rooms, and I'd suggest choosing a twin bed rather than a single.

Breakfast was nice and the location is good, but the room we were given looked nothing like the pictures. It was on the ground floor, dark, and smelled moldy, more like a prison cell. There was no warm water when we arrived, so we couldn't even shower. Two men were at reception: the taller one was very kind, while the other gave us attitude for no reason. Also, take the Israeli flag off the reception desk. I didn't even see the Uzbek flag.

The hotel looks beautiful inside, and the rooms are really good and clean. The receptionist was humble, spoke English, and helped us a lot. The staff were very good.
