The one thing that worked well was the location, close to the center. The breakfast area smelled unpleasant, probably because cats roam around, and the limited food was too oily. We expected a different room from the photos. After reaching Samarkand at 3 AM, we were exhausted and didn't look for somewhere else. The key was in the room door; when we called the number provided, someone answered and showed us in. I didn't take photos of the room or toilet, I was worn out from walking around beautiful Samarkand and just wanted to sleep and rest. The beds were tiny and uncomfortable, the sheets didn't fit properly and felt unclean despite looking like they'd been washed many times. They had a strange smell, and the small towels weren't fresh either. The shower looked old and unclean. There were two pairs of slippers there, but they seemed reusable, and I was afraid to put them on even with socks. My friend talked me into staying a second night because we couldn't find another place at the same price. The app showed the booking was non-refundable, so we had no choice but to remain there. The payment price on the booking site was also a little higher than I expected.
