Aliz Boulevard Hotel

The pool was fantastic, and the reservation system let me enjoy it privately, which was a welcome touch. Tony was especially helpful, speaking fluent English and French and going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The staff were great all around. It's a well located boutique hotel, freshly renovated. Highly recommended!

A lovely park setting in a nice area, with a few good restaurants within walking distance. The street itself is pedestrian only, so car drop-offs and pickups happen on the next street or boulevard. Gur-i Amir Complex is about a 15-minute walk away, and Registan Square about 25 minutes. The staff stood out most to us. They were warm, hospitable, and accommodating throughout our stay. Breakfast was great, the rooms were nice, and the shower was particularly good. The building is historic and renovated, keeping its old design and charm while offering up-to-date amenities. It's a beautiful, clean hotel. Just be aware there's no elevator.

My double room was a moderate size, with a really spacious shower. The staff were keen to help, and breakfast was so-so but enough. That seems typical in Uzbekistan. The hotel is lovely and set in a pleasant green neighborhood. I'd gladly stay again.

The rooms are excellent and comfortable, and the hotel has a swimming pool and good service. Everything is new and well maintained, with a Soviet style interior and styling given a modern incarnation. It isn't modern in a warm or cozy way, though. I like that kind of anachronism, so it's definitely worth considering if you do too. Picture large leather chairs by the pool. Breakfast was okay, aimed at people who like meat and heavier food, which fits the overall style.
