The location couldn’t be better, just a five-minute walk to the Art Museum, with mini markets and shops nearby. We stayed one night in October at Jipek Joli Inn, converted from two separate villas linked by a semi-open courtyard. Our room felt a little old-fashioned, but it was clean and comfortable enough for a pleasant stay. The reception staff spoke fluent English and efficiently arranged transport to Mizdakhan and Gyaur Kala. The price was reasonable, and the driver was very accommodating.

Quiet and clean, with a good breakfast. Special thanks to the young man on duty on the morning of 4 May 2026. He helped us a lot to retrieve my passport, which I’d left in a shop the day before.

The staff were helpful and polite, including helping with our luggage. We had buffet breakfast with lots of variety, good WiFi, hot water and clean bedrooms. It’s in a great location near the airport and centre. The rooms were inconsistent, though. We booked the same type of room for two different dates at the same cost, but got quite different rooms. The first was okay, but the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The second was much bigger and better, with a bathtub and softer, more comfortable beds. Maybe they upgraded us. If all the rooms were like that second one, I’d have given five stars.

The courtyard was lovely, and our room was clean and comfortable. Service was excellent, with very helpful staff who organised our transfer to Khiva.

They were very helpful when I needed a package delivered to Usbekistan at their address. When we arrived, they had no rooms available, so they moved us to the tremendous Jipek Joli Art Hotel at a discounted price. Great service overall, an absolute recommendation!
