The staff were good, and the Chinese rest was quite good too, but the value for the price was the worst I’ve come across. The rooms need maintenance ASAP. Cleaning left dirty towels behind, and there were spiders in the room. Breakfast was awful. The chef told us there were only 3 guests at the hotel, so they’d prepared very little. The pool is small and needs maintenance as well. It takes half an hour on foot to reach the main attractions. Some rooms are quiet, while others face the road.

After a tiring Sharq train journey from Bukhara, we were met with a wonderfully warm welcome at Siab Hotel. I’d stayed at hotels in Tashkent and Bukhara before, and neither had impressed me, but this one did. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with impressive bathroom fittings. The hotel is only about a year old, and its fresh, modern feel shows. The complimentary breakfast was a generous buffet with lots of delicious choices. There’s a dining area, though no full-fledged restaurant. We had dinner at the café above the nearby supermarket, which is just a short walk away. I absolutely loved my stay. It was one of the best parts of my Uzbekistan tour.

Ulmas was especially helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was very nice. The location, cleanliness, and service were all amazing. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I enjoyed my time there. I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Samarkand.

The room was spotless, nicely furnished, and had stunning views. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, going out of their way to make me comfortable. We recently stayed at Siab Hotel and had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
