After check-in, they take you on a short cultural tour of the hotel, and the staff are amazingly helpful. Breakfast has plenty of variety and generous portions. The hotel surprised me each day with their kindness. It’s in the middle of the city, and the rooms and shared spaces are all well furnished and decorated.

The service really stands out here. Staff go out of their way to make guests comfortable, and we found wine and fruit waiting in our room each day. The rooms are lovely, the setting is beautiful, and breakfast has plenty to choose from. A very exciting hotel, and I’d recommend booking a stay.

The hotel’s decor has the feel of a small, charming museum, and the restaurant team made our meals a pleasure. Reception welcomed us warmly too. We spent four lovely days at the Silk Road Empire Hotel, on one of Samarkand's main streets and an easy walk from the city center. The railway station is 6 kilometers away and the airport is 7. I’m looking forward to returning to Samarkand, and would choose the hotel again.

I was in Samarkand for business and stayed at the Silk Road Empire Hotel. After years of visiting Uzbekistan, this was the first Samarkand hotel I found that brought history and modernity together so well. It was clean, the room was comfortable, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. I’d recommend it to people visiting Samarkand. Special thanks to Amir, Damir, Nasi, and Shinboy.
