The courtyard has a nostalgic, regional feel, and the location is hard to beat, just an easy walk from the Registan and other major sights. It was quiet despite being central, and the housekeeping team kept the room tidy. Those are the main reasons to consider staying here. Inside the room, though, the facilities felt very old. The shower pressure was extremely weak, and there was a strong, unpleasant toilet smell. I had to buy my own air freshener to make the room tolerable. I also found a dirty mouthwash cup in the bathroom and didn't dare use it. The advertised family vibe didn't really come through. Staff were generally helpful, but several wore slippers while serving guests, which felt overly casual and a bit unprofessional. Breakfast was a letdown too, with little variety and buffet food not refilled promptly. The central location and courtyard are appealing, but expect maintenance issues and very relaxed service standards.

The room was fine, with plenty of power outlets, and the hotel was very, very clean. The beds were quite hard, though that seems common in Uzbekistan and may not be specific to this place. Reception staff were friendly and breakfast was very good, with a nice range and good quality. We were here for a couple of nights as part of a tour, so I can't really assess value for money. The location was excellent and one of the best parts of the stay. A lot of the hotel feels old or worn and clearly needs restoration; some areas seem to be under construction or overdue for it. I had a good experience and would consider coming back for the location and friendly service. With updates and refurbishment, it could be much better.

The location is perfect, and this cozy hotel has a lot of potential. The reception guys will get you what you need and the service is great. Rooms vary, some are better than others. Breakfast isn't bad. We really enjoyed our stay.

The staff deserve a special mention: Mr Abbos and Mr Suhrob were attentive, kind, and helpful, and we really appreciate everything they did for us. The peaceful atmosphere felt like home, and we enjoyed the food, especially the fresh fruit. Registan Square is only a 5-10 minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the hotel.

WiFi was available everywhere, and the rooms were heated. The staff speak English and were always ready to help, with great service. The neighbors were very cool and didn't interfere, so I enjoyed my stay. It's a gem right in the middle of town, around the key Registan Square.
