We appreciated being allowed to check in early, and when we had to leave early the next morning, the staff packed us a very good breakfast. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel was generally clean and the heating was excellent, which mattered a lot in the January cold. The airport pickup they arranged was paid, but the driver was right on time and we didn't have to wait. A couple of basics were missing: there was no shattaf in the washrooms and no toothbrushes. Our one-night stay at Suzani Hotel Samarkand was decent and comfortable, and I'd recommend it as a safe, pleasant place to stay in Samarkand.

The delicious breakfast and friendly staff made this place feel like home. They speak English and Russian, and the rooms are tidy. I also liked that you change your shoes when you enter and can wear the slippers they provide.

It's a little away from the center, but getting there is easy, either a 20-30 minute walk or a cheap five-minute taxi ride. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly, and the home-cooked breakfasts were great. I'd happily stay again.

Please fix room number 2. It's right beside reception, so calls from the room could be heard, and the receptionist watched videos without headphones. The lobby lights were on all the time too, and all of that was noticeable from the room. It was really annoying and made it hard to sleep. Please remove that room from use.

The hosts are very hospitable, and the breakfast is delicious. It's an excellent, very clean hotel where you feel at home. I'd recommend it to everyone.
