Leila A.🇺🇲 The room was clean, breakfast was nice, and the staff were very friendly. A great hotel, and I’ll definitely be back!

The location is far from the city centre, and the second room I stayed in initially smelled awful. Most of the staff also came across as cold and unfriendly. Tashkent has plenty of hotels, so I’d advise travellers to avoid this one. I rarely leave reviews, good or bad, but after staying at Hotel Friday Old City, I feel other travellers should know what happened. I’ve travelled a lot and never had a hotel experience this bad. I’d booked three nights through booking.com. When my plans changed, I asked the receptionist if I could add two more nights. They agreed and quoted $48. The following day, staff members banged on my door and called my room to ask whether I was checking out. When I went to check out, they charged me another $48. I said I’d been quoted that amount for two nights, but they told me it was the price for one night. I spoke with the sales manager, Otabek, who offered to check CCTV to see whether I’d said one night or two. I had to get to the airport, though, so I paid. Later, I asked the hotel for the footage, and they sent it. I can be heard telling the receptionist twice that I wanted to stay for “two nights,” and being quoted $48. I asked management to refund the extra payment, but they refused. I found that highly dishonest. They were rude and tried to put some of the blame on me. I understand employees can make mistakes, but guests shouldn’t have to pay for them. Otabek also seems to have deleted our entire Telegram chat, which I find very shady. Luckily, I saved the CCTV footage he sent me, and attached some of it to this review.
The room was a little small, but it worked out fine. Breakfast was good, and I was glad to have a bidet spray in the bathroom. Old Friday Hotel is a nice spot for the price, with really friendly staff and a great location near Chorsu Bazaar. I had a great stay in Tashkent about a month ago, and would definitely recommend it.
A relaxing place with the charm of the Old City and modern amenities. The cozy rooms and warm hospitality make a comfortable base, with famous landmarks, markets, and restaurants easy to reach. Hotel Friday Old City blends comfort and tradition in the historic district. Please help me sir.
The restaurant staff gave great service, and breakfast was good. A nice hotel.
