The atmosphere at Tashkent City Residents feels safe, clean, and community-oriented, and management is responsive and professional when something needs attention. The gym, parking, and green spaces make daily life more enjoyable. The apartments are modern and spacious, with thoughtful design, lovely city views, and plenty of natural light. The location is right in the heart of the city, close to everything while still peaceful and comfortable. It's been an amazing experience living here, and one of the best places in Tashkent for anyone who values comfort, convenience, and quality.
The playgrounds get full sun with almost no shade, and one side of my window faces an unfinished part of the area where cars pass all night. Kids sometimes swim in the fountains, which is bizarre. Some fountains no longer work or have evening lights, and the people in charge say kids throw things in the pools and clog the filters. There are amenities nearby, including a fitness club with instructors and a pool for an extra charge, a Moroccan hammam, gym, kids' boxing classes, swings, and fountains. Tashkent City mall and the famous park are just a short walk away. The gates are supposed to open with plastic cards, but they have never worked since the residential buildings opened. We were told it was taking time because of logistics, almost two years now. Security guards also make up different rules at the entrances. One may ask where you're going while another doesn't, and if you question them they blame each other. Cleaning is poor in the shared areas. The main entrance and elevators get cleaned once or twice a month because there aren't enough cleaners for so many buildings. The emergency stairs have never been cleaned, and there are no lights, so after sunset they're pitch dark. Elevators don't always work. Rubbish is kept in the -1 parking area, and many buildings don't have bins for reasons nobody seems to know. The lawn mowers run most mornings, making a lot of noise and leaving a petrol smell if you're hoping for a quiet start to the day. The construction is really bad too, with the tails coming off. Kids are often left unsupervised, running around and breaking things. They broke the wooden path under my window, and I had to chase them off because they wouldn't listen until I raised my voice. It took half a year to repair, and now it's broken again. If you bring a dog, you have to register it and clean up after it on walks.
With an 18-hectare park and Tashkent City nearby, it's a nice neighborhood. No cars are allowed in the area, which makes it safer for kids. There are security and cleaning services, and the property management company is good.
