Hotel Manor

It's a pleasant, well equipped hotel, and being near both the train station and metro is a real plus. The breakfasts let it down: the options are repetitive and weak, with very few hot dishes. I'd still recommend staying here.

Getting to the train station was easy, about a brisk five-minute walk, and there are restaurants close by. The hotel lobby and other shared spaces looked fancy at first, while my room was basic but matched the online photos. I appreciated the little gym in the basement, with a few dumbbells and a cable machine. Breakfast had a great mix of sweet and savory food, but it didn't start until around 7:15, even though the stated hours were 7 to 11. That made my morning more rushed than expected since I had a train to another city. My window faced the construction site next door, which wasn't pleasant and got somewhat noisy during the day.

We were there on a business trip at the beginning of November 2024. The location was great, and special thanks to housekeeper Ms. Nargiza. Breakfast for the first two days was wow, with cauliflower and broccoli, and the quail eggs were available every day. Lots of delicious choices. One odd thing: the room window couldn't be opened, and the air conditioning didn't bring in fresh air.

There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops, a grocery store, and a pharmacy nearby, and the train station is about a seven-minute walk away. The hotel has a nice style, a lovely staff, and a clean, good room, though the beds are so high that climbing into them is uncomfortable. Breakfast was decent, with basic choices and a good range of vegetarian food and cheese. There's a small gym and a great spa with a hammam, massage, little pool, sauna, and steam room. You can book the spa for private use at a reasonable price, which is especially handy when traveling with family, but it isn't free. Sleep was uncomfortable during our stay because construction behind the hotel was noisy and disruptive.
