The rooms were spotless and peaceful, with lovely views. Breakfast is very simple, but delicious, with local food like samosas, pumpkin, sausage, cheese and other traditional treats. Don't expect anything fancy. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. They helped us plan our itinerary and figure out the complicated train booking system, including the difference between booking on the app and website. Booking train tickets a week ahead is recommended if you want to secure seats. The hotel is cozy and simple, and its location made a good base for exploring Tashkent. It's near the airport, train station and popular spots such as Magic Park. One warning: Google Maps sends you to the wrong side of the location. Yango gave us accurate directions. It might seem odd to write that on Google Maps, but it's true.

The location was a big plus for me. Hotel River Inn Tashkent is near the river for a pleasant morning walk, with a market close by for shopping. It's also in the heart of Tashkent, near the city center, restaurants and all the lively atmosphere there. Check-in was quick and smooth, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and breakfast had a great variety of delicious options. The staff were friendly, attentive and ready to help. I loved my stay from start to finish and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tashkent.

The room gets very warm because the heater can't be turned off, though you can open the door or window. I slept well with the nearby waterfall making white noise. Breakfast had a good selection, but they didn't refill it very often. The hotel is new, though the soap dispenser already jams and leaves liquid soap all over the bathroom floor. The area is gated. Coming from Seoul promenade, press the call button so reception can open the gate. At check-in, ask for a token for the back door. Taxis arrive at the front gate, where a guard lets you in or out.

Mr. Abdu Malik at the desk made us feel especially welcome, and the staff were sweet and helpful. The foyer is warm and nicely designed. Breakfast had a very nice spread. Our room was a little small, but well equipped, with heated bathroom floors and toiletries provided. We enjoyed our stay at RiverInn in Tashkent, with SeoulMun, Magic City and plenty of stores nearby.

Be careful with this hotel. They tried to charge us double for the room, and there was no shower gel for all three nights. Our travel agent plans to sue them.
