Wyndham Tashkent Hotel

The facilities are very old. The furniture and doors need replacing, and the walls need repainting. Reception staff also need training on how to treat local guests. Everyone staying and paying should be approached kindly and equally, whether local or foreign.

The room was large, clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed. There was a refrigerator and coffee machine in the room, plus tea and coffee bags for free. The front desk staff were wonderful, and breakfast was amazing, with a very wide choice of food. It was a pleasure staying here, and I'd be happy to stay again.

This was the most comfortable hotel during our whole stay in Uzbekistan. The rooms were very clean, the linen was new, the bathrooms spotless, and there was hot and cold water. The best part was the staff. I have rarely seen people this friendly. @mirshakhzod, @sarvnaz and the others worked around our schedule, upgraded us, and helped us find some of the best places to eat in Tashkent. Highly recommended.

The room carpets could've been cleaner, and the shower pressure was low but adequate. The taps were a bit loose. Still, nothing's perfect, and there was plenty to like: piping hot water, excellent service all around, and fast room service. The cleaning ladies were par excellence. Water bottles and coffee were replaced quickly, and the ironing boards were there, the irons worked, and there were enough hangers and bathrobes. Breakfast was awesome, with a good spread and solid vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. First time I've seen a honeycomb on the table! We loved drizzling it over hot buttered toast. We had an excellent experience in a great location, right by the metro and local Bazaar. Medical shops and snacks were just beside the hotel, with lovely shaded walks outside and a giant library very close by.
